Patrick “Pat” Vaughn, 70, of Davenport, Iowa; passed unexpectedly on February 28 2022. Funeral services to honor his life will take place on March 8 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday 7 March 2022 from 4 to 7:30pm in the Weerts Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the funeral on the Oakdale Memorial Gardens. Memorials in his name can be given towards the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or to the Oak Hills Gun Club.

Pat was born the 5th of April 1950, to Charles Vaughn and Harriet Vaughn in McGregor, Iowa. He was married with Lisa Largent on August 14 in 1984. Pat was employed by Oscar Mayer Kraft Foods for 34 years before retiring in the year 2000. Pat was a true outdoorsman. He was a keen fisherman and hunter, and he loved gardening. When he had the chance, Pat was spending time with his family and friends. He particularly enjoyed watching his children take part in games. Pat and Lisa were avid travelers and took several journeys throughout all of the United States in their mini van “Black Betty”. Lisa was her biggest cheerleader and her biggest supporter during her races. He was also a volunteer for the Beer Tent for the Firecracker Run and the Freedom Run. Pat was an active participant in the QC Bass Club, Davenport Valley Archers, Oak Hills Gun Club as well as the NRA.

Pat has been survived by his 37-year wife Lisa his son Jason Morales and his grandchildren Taylor, Cru, Silas, Lucy, and Julian family members: Jesse (Judy) Vaughn, Linda Baker, Danny (Dorothy) Vaughn, and Mike (Mary) Vaughn; sister-in-law Terri (Kevin) DeRoin and many nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by his parents as well as his siblings Charlene Ihde as well as Larry Vaughn.
